Assistant Director of Ministry – Internet Evangelism Is God calling you to ministry? For over 70 years, The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) has proclaimed the Gospel through its various ministries across the United States and abroad. The Internet Evangelism department extends this mission globally via digital tools and online strategies, reaching audiences in multiple languages.

Responsibilities

Directly supervise Language Managers, providing leadership, coaching, and accountability.

Conduct regular one‑on‑one meetings and annual performance evaluations.

Lead performance management processes, addressing concerns and initiating corrective action.

Foster a culture of clarity, collaboration, and continuous improvement across language teams.

Oversee operational performance of all language ministries, aligning with IE strategies and goals.

Monitor key performance indicators including evangelism effectiveness, discipleship outcomes, volunteer engagement, response times, and quality standards.

Conduct performance reviews to assess progress, identify trends, and address gaps.

Ensure consistent ministry practices while respecting cultural and contextual differences.

Ensure ministry initiatives and campaigns are implemented across all language teams.

Collaborate with Language Managers to evaluate, refine, and improve ministry approaches and processes.

Provide direction and adjust execution to maintain alignment with ministry priorities.

Support cross‑team coordination and consistency across language ministries.

Develop and maintain clear, consistent reporting on ministry performance.

Provide accurate, timely, and actionable insights to the Director of Ministry.

Contribute to leadership decision‑making by identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.

Ensure ministry data is communicated with clarity, integrity, and consistency.

Establish and refine systems for tracking and evaluating ministry activity.

Standardize processes where appropriate to enhance effectiveness and consistency.

Identify operational inefficiencies and implement improvements.

Collaborate with internal teams to improve tools, reporting, and workflows.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred, or equivalent education and experience.

Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience, including leadership of teams or managers.

Demonstrated experience in performance management and team leadership.

Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insight.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Experience working with cross‑cultural teams preferred.

Knowledge of volunteer management practices preferred, particularly in a ministry context.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web‑based applications; strong Excel skills preferred.

Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts with internal teams.

Demonstrates a relationally strong, operationally clear, and consistently accountable leadership approach.

Builds trust while maintaining clear expectations and follow‑through.

Exercises sound judgment and decisiveness in leadership and operational matters.

Communicates with clarity, consistency, and effectiveness across all levels.

Takes proactive ownership of responsibilities and outcomes.
