Job Description Neuroscience Sales Specialist – responsible for driving sales of the Intra‑Cellular Therapies neuroscience product portfolio within the Lake Charles territory. The role entails meeting sales forecasts, building therapeutic relationships with healthcare professionals, executing local strategic plans, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company policies. The specialist will develop deep product and disease state knowledge, create local tactical plans, manage budgets, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to maximize market impact.
Job Responsibilities
Follow compliance guidelines to drive sales performance, meeting or exceeding forecasts within the assigned territory via in‑person and virtual HCP interactions.
Use assigned budgets to achieve territory objectives, customizing discussions based on customer needs.
Maintain current understanding of local market, practice structures, evolving customers and key influencers, and share information with internal stakeholders.
Provide input on resource allocation decisions across customers/region, selecting appropriate programs/resources.
Collaborate with Regional Business Manager and stakeholders to develop a local business plan and capitalize on formulary approvals and other opportunities.
Collaborate with other Neuroscience Sales Specialists on objectives and best‑practice sharing.
Provide timely and accurate administrative management of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communication responses, synchronization, sample, and expense reporting.
Build a business plan based on customer business needs, resources, and products.
Complete all company and job‑related training within required timelines.

Job Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of relevant healthcare sales, account management, or business‑to‑business sales experience; transition from Active‑Duty Military acceptable.
Preferred: 3+ years of specialty pharmaceutical sales, including launch, antipsychotic, and/or bipolar sales experience.
Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Strong passion for improving patients’ lives; demonstrable patient‑centricity.
High integrity and adherence to company compliance policies.
Self‑motivation, initiative, entrepreneurial mindset, excellent judgment, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
Proven ability to learn, adapt, and overcome challenges in evolving environments.
Ability to work in a virtual/telemedicine environment and travel as required.
Analyzes data/metrics to assess progress, diagnose issues and identify opportunities.
Experience establishing new customer relationships and communicating technical information.
Flexible work hours, including occasional meetings outside normal hours; domestic travel for training and meetings.
