Superintendent – Multifamily Construction Dallas, TX | Ground-Up Multifamily | $150K–$185K + 20% Bonus

Macdonald & Company is partnered with a well-capitalized developer-builder delivering multifamily projects across the Dallas market. With multiple developments underway and a strong pipeline moving forward, the business is looking to bring on a Superintendent to lead field operations on upcoming projects in the Dallas / North Dallas corridor.

This is an opportunity to join a developer-led platform delivering 300-unit multifamily communities, with projects ranging from suburban wrap construction to more complex urban infill podium developments.

The Role The Superintendent will be responsible for running day-to-day site operations, managing subcontractors, maintaining schedule, and ensuring quality and safety across the project lifecycle.

The role will initially focus on ground-up multifamily delivery in the Dallas area, including projects located in Frisco and central Dallas.

Project Types

300-unit multifamily wrap construction (wood-frame over structured parking)

Urban infill podium construction on tight sites with complex logistics

Structured parking integration and multi-level amenity spaces

Full lifecycle delivery from sitework through project turnover

Key Responsibilities

Lead daily field operations and oversee subcontractor activity

Maintain construction schedule and coordinate trade sequencing

Manage site logistics, deliveries, and safety compliance

Ensure work is completed according to drawings and specifications

Conduct daily site walks and coordinate with project management teams

Drive quality control, inspections, and punch list completion

Maintain strong communication with ownership, consultants, and trades

Ideal Background

7+ years of construction experience with ground-up multifamily projects

Experience delivering wrap or podium multifamily construction

Proven ability to run site as Lead Superintendent

Strong knowledge of scheduling, trade coordination, and field operations
