Sr. Brand Manager

The Sr. Brand Manager will report to the Vice President of Marketing and be responsible for leading brand strategy and execution across a portfolio of high-quality pet food products. This role will drive positioning, messaging, and integrated marketing efforts while supporting innovation and new product launches. This individual will play a critical role in translating consumer insights and market trends into actionable strategies that strengthen brand performance. The Sr. Brand Manager will collaborate cross-functionally and with retail partners to deliver impactful marketing programs across digital, social, and in‑store channels, while also supporting P&L performance and maximizing ROI. Roles and Responsibilities Brand Strategy & Development Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies to drive awareness, engagement, and growth Lead brand positioning, messaging, and identity across all consumer touchpoints Partner cross-functionally to ensure consistency across all marketing materials and communications Support product innovation strategy and execution of new product launches Marketing Campaigns & Promotions Lead integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, retail, and in‑store channels Develop and execute retail marketing programs in partnership with key accounts Optimize content across all touchpoints, including digital, social media, and point‑of‑sale Measure campaign performance and continuously refine strategies to improve results Customer Insights & Market Research Analyze consumer data, trends, and behaviors to inform marketing strategy Monitor competitive landscape and industry trends to maintain brand relevance Leverage insights and feedback to enhance engagement and brand positioning P&L & Performance Optimization Align marketing strategies with sales objectives and revenue goals Support portfolio management and product mix to meet consumer needs and margin targets Track and report on key performance metrics, optimizing campaigns as needed Manage marketing budgets to maximize ROI and overall brand performance Leadership & Collaboration Partner with internal teams including sales, product development, and eCommerce Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors to execute marketing initiatives Required Skills and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred 5+ years of experience in brand marketing, ideally within consumer products or pet industry Experience leading integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, and traditional channels Proven ability to drive brand growth, manage budgets, and optimize marketing performance Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights Experience managing budgets and delivering against KPIs Why Join Opportunity to work on a portfolio of high‑quality, growing consumer brands in the pet category Collaborative, innovative team environment with strong leadership support Ability to make a direct impact on brand growth and product innovation Competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and career development opportunities Worksite Location 100% Remote (Minnesota and Texas residents encouraged to apply) Compensation: $155,000–$165,000 base salary + 20% annual bonus Benefits: Comprehensive package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k) with match, parental leave, disability coverage, and professional development support Versique is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating a diverse workforce.
