MARKETING SPECIALIST (PART-TIME)
Webfor, Vancouver, WA, United States
Job Description
Webfor is seeking a new part‑time Marketing Specialist to join our growing team. We’re a fun team of creative developers, designers, and marketing professionals. We thrive on seeing our clients succeed and team members succeed.
About You
You’re new to the world of digital marketing and have an interest in keyword research, on‑page optimization, technical SEO, local optimization, and more. You’re looking to collaborate and learn marketing tactics to be implemented across all our accounts.
This is a junior position, so we know you’ll be spending the first 90 days learning, asking questions, and working towards fulfilling client work.
You’re a go‑getter, always learning and always growing. No task is too big or complex. You’re organized and tackle tasks in a meticulous way. You have a deep appreciation for process and strategic thinking.
The Role
Over time, your goal is to work with the team and clients to achieve defined goals that will help businesses grow, improve conversions and rankings, and enhance their overall online marketing success. A key component of this is delivering a high level of service where the client feels cared for and important, and appreciates the value that Webfor offers.
Compensation
$15 to $18 per hour.
Expected Start Date
No later than May 1st.
Core Responsibilities
Clearly understand client goals and set a path to reach them. Execute that strategy accordingly.
Publish content to client websites with a keen focus on quality of work, ensuring that text is formatted properly and that resources cited in the material are reputable and trusted.
Hold yourself to a high standard of performance by doing what you say you’re going to do.
Reduce or eliminate rework by you and/or the team. Rework is defined as having to edit something you’ve already completed 1-2+ times. This hurts your productivity and overall efficiency.
Find new ways to grow a client’s brand in search engines.
Never compromise an account by taking risks with a client’s online presence without consulting your project team.
Look for opportunities to improve processes and deliverables for clients. The better we are at delivering great work, the more clients that will want to work with us.
About Webfor
Webfor’s first priority is to fulfill our clients’ expectations (we refer to this as the three R’s: Relationship, Results, and ROI). However, the company culture we are building is just as important. In addition to the required professional skills for the job opening, a future Webfor employee must be a good fit, personality‑wise. Loosely speaking, that means you are a hard worker and passionate about what you do, but you also have a positive attitude, love to laugh, and enjoy yourself.
Work and fun don’t have to be opposing ideas!
We are an established web design and search agency that’s growing fast! We’re looking for team members who fit well with our culture and want the opportunity to advance and grow!
Apply
Only accepting applicants who currently reside in the Portland, OR, and Vancouver, WA metro areas.
