AAA Northeast is looking for a creative and enthusiastic college student to join our summer internship program. This internship offers hands‑on experience in managing and growing social media channels, creating content, and supporting paid advertising campaigns. This role is perfect for someone looking to learn the ins and outs of social media marketing in a supportive, team‑oriented environment.
What You Will Do
Collaborate with the marketing team on creative campaigns and brainstorm new ways to engage our audience
Assist in creating engaging content across social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube
Help create and edit short‑form video content, including Instagram Reels, TikToks, and Stories
Support the paid social media team by helping with campaign set up, optimizations and performance reporting across various social platforms (Meta, Pinterest, and Reddit)
Research social media trends, emerging platforms, and competitor activity to inspire new content ideas
Gain knowledge of paid social media best practices and industry developments
Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field
Strong interest in social media, digital marketing, and content creation
Familiarity with social platforms and basic social media tools (Facebook Business Manager and Creator Studio, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube)
Basic video editing skills are a plus (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe)
Strong communication, creativity, and organizational skills
Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to take initiative
