Chemical Manufacturing --- About the Role Our firm is partnering with a global leader in water, hygiene, and energy technologies to support their commercial credit and collections operations. This organization works with customers across food, healthcare, hospitality, and industrial sectors, helping them operate more safely, efficiently, and sustainably. We are seeking an Associate Credit Representative to support business-to-business (B2B) collections efforts. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with commercial collections experience who enjoys problem-solving, customer interaction, and account reconciliation.
Job Description As an Associate Credit Representative, you will be responsible for managing assigned customer accounts, resolving past-due balances, and partnering with internal teams to address invoicing and payment issues. Success in this role requires professionalism, persistence, and the ability to work independently after completing training. Key Responsibilities
Contact customers regarding past-due balances via phone and email Research, reconcile, and resolve debit/credit discrepancies and payment issues Listen to customer concerns, identify invoicing issues, and clearly document findings Communicate account issues and resolutions to internal stakeholders Maintain accurate records of collection activity and customer interactions Handle difficult or upset customers professionally and tactfully Independently drive resolution of delinquent balances after training completion Qualifications Required Qualifications:
2-5 years of commercial (B2B) collections experience Accounting knowledge sufficient to research debits, credits, and customer payments Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently after training Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including statement reconciliation Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong documentation, organization, and time management skills Ability to work collaboratively in a professional office environment High school diploma or GED Preferred Qualifications:
