Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)

Conceive, package, and write or edit stories for all sections of Food Network Magazine and HGTV Magazine across print.

Develop and maintain relationships with Food Network talent and their representatives.

Plan and manage long‑term editorial features on Food Network talent.

Identify, recruit, and manage a network of freelance contributors.

Stay current on trends in food, home, crafts, and lifestyle to pitch fresh, creative content ideas.

Collaborate with designers to concept and plan dynamic layouts.

Craft engaging display copy and compelling headlines.

Support the creation and packaging of special editorial projects (e.g., brand books, SIPs).

Represent both brands in meetings with advertisers and partners.

Qualifications (What We’re Looking For)

Demonstrated ability to generate and shape creative, engaging editorial content.

Deep knowledge of home, food, and lifestyle trends.

Exceptional packaging, writing, and editing skills.

Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.

At least seven years of experience at a consumer food or lifestyle magazine.

A collaborative spirit and enthusiasm for working cross‑functionally with partners and stakeholders.

Hybrid work schedule: four days per week in our New York City office.

The base salary for this role is between $83,000 - $102,000 . The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
