Job Description Reporting to the Head of FX CBB Sales, the candidate will be responsible for supporting and servicing the clients of the Retail, Small Business Banking, Affluent Wealth and Business Banking segments. Duties will include the day‑to‑day execution of FX transactions, payment investigations and resolution, prospecting and developing new clients, maintaining a portfolio of existing clients and providing FX payment, investment and risk management solutions. Candidate should possess a strong knowledge of financial markets.

Job Functions

Work closely with retail branches, senior marketers and relationship managers to identify, discuss, and enable foreign exchange products and services to the bank's current clients and prospects, with specific focus on our Consumer and Business Banking segment

Assist in the preparation of marketing and presentation materials

Serve as a key contact for current customers and internal partners with seamless client coverage when senior marketers are traveling

Coordinate with credit and legal teams and clients to ensure timely approval and execution of ISDA documentation

Work in partnership with senior marketers to directly assist clients with regulatory onboarding requirements

Administer trading platform access and configuration for clients and FX team members

Data input and other supporting duties

Serve as a liaison between the FX Operations (Back/Middle Offices) and the front office to resolve settlement, investigation or other related operations issues

Special projects, new product/service development and enhancements

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree. Major or minor in economics or finance preferred, including coursework in financial accounting and statistics. Other mathematical or engineering disciplines would be considered.

Preference for prior experience working on a foreign exchange sales desk or in a FX middle office position.

Deep understanding of the foreign exchange markets and foreign exchange products including spot, forwards, swaps and options.

Preferred Qualifications

At least 1 year of sales experience in a financial services environment, including branch banking, wealth management or brokerage firms.

Knowledge of FX strategies and solutions, financial markets and banking products and services is a plus.

Requires the ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision in a high productivity and time sensitive environment.

Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively and possess a salesperson’s mentality.

Should have a strong aptitude for working with numbers, along with excellent attention to details.

Fluency in English and Japanese a plus.

Excellent Excel, Access, and Word skills.

Solid foundation of economics and finance theory; well-versed in current economic conditions and outlook including monetary policy, growth/inflation, and the current interest rate environment.

Exceptional interpersonal skills, both oral and written.

Acute attention to detail.

Self‑motivated with a keen desire to learn and contribute within a dynamic team environment.

Compensation Pay Range: $86,530.00 - $101,800.00. The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
