Who are You at MacLellan? As the Director of Operations, you will ensure optimal client relations by managing constant communications with clients. You will provide high-quality operations and maintenance service to assure proper performance of engineered equipment and building systems. With integrated facility service experience, you will prepare, recommend, assist, and administer the annual facility budget, maintain physical assets and oversee subcontractors, and ensure staff receive adequate technical, administrative, and other training. What are the skills necessary for success? Business and Strategic Leadership

Exceptional customer service and conflict resolution skills.

Budget preparation, recommendations, and management of the annual facility budget; exception reporting to the client and MacLellan management with real-time countermeasures.

Provides regular monthly written status reports to the client and MacLellan management.

Presents KPI’s and performance reports as necessary to keep client management aware of atypical occurrences, unusual staffing challenges, and potential building-related interruptions.

Leads safe operation compliant with OSHA and MacLellan processes.

Ensures full compliance with all code enforced work.

Talent management and development.

Creates a work environment promoting teamwork consistent with MacLellan cultural DNA code.

Builds strategic client relationships at all levels of the organization.

Experienced in organic and new business growth strategies and site launch processes.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

High financial acumen.

What education and experience are needed for success?

Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical engineering or business management and comparable large account management experience required.

Experience with full budget financial responsibility for a large account.

Direct management of a critical process cleaning model with 200 or more indirect employees.

Demonstrated aptitude in the following four skill areas with a working knowledge of at least two: mechanical, electrical, general building maintenance, or building construction.

Strong working knowledge of energy and sustainability.

Demonstrated expertise in verbal and written communications.

Demonstrated willingness to work non-standard days and hours as required.

Pre-Employment Drug Testing Notification and Policy

After a conditional offer of employment, all job applicants at MacLellan Integrated Services will undergo testing for the presence of illegal drugs.

Applicants will be required to submit voluntarily to a urine specimen test at a laboratory chosen by the Company. Any applicant who refuses to submit to a drug test or is suspected by the lab to have tampered with the specimen will not be considered for employment.

Prior to testing, an applicant will be given the opportunity to list all prescription drugs used and their purpose. All legal drugs found in a drug test result will be verified by a Medical Review Officer (MRO), who will verify that prescriptions are valid and being used at the prescribed amount and that said amounts are reflected appropriately in the urine.

Any applicant with a confirmed positive test will be denied employment.

Post-Employment Drug Testing

All employees can be drug tested randomly, upon suspicion, post-accident or any other purpose allowed by law.
