The primary role of a Hotel & Events Executive Manager is to organise events within your property, including weddings, celebrations, meetings, conferences & wakes to maximise revenue across this segment. You will handle the booking process from start to finish, including taking the initial enquiry, quotations, negotiations, contracts & finances, before communicating the clients’ requirements to your operational team to deliver on the day. You may also be involved on the event day itself.

Qualifications Your role as...
Handling event enquiries through a variety of media, including telephone, website, email, social media and third‑party websites
Meeting with guests to understand their requirements, and demonstrating how your venue can meet those requirements
Co‑ordinating event services, such as rooms, requirements, food choices
Communicating event details to your operational colleagues, enabling them to deliver the event on the day, often being present for the event to welcome the guests
Ensure venue listings on all online portals including Hitched, Venue Directory etc are accurate and regularly updated
Accurate input to an event system to ensure tracking and forecasting of event revenue
Booking and promoting internal events such as comedy nights, party nights
Advertising/promotional material for events & distributing it to the target audience for your site either through social media or face to face
