Job Overview Moxy Denver Cherry Creek and Courtyard Denver Downtown are hiring an Area Marketing Manager responsible for driving brand awareness, community engagement, and incremental revenue through strategic marketing initiatives, local partnerships, and on‑property activations. This role blends digital marketing expertise with on‑ground programming to position each hotel as a vibrant, locally connected destination.

The ideal candidate is both creative and analytical—passionate about storytelling, social media, and building meaningful relationships within the local community. This individual will lead the development and execution of marketing strategies that elevate the hotel’s identity, generate demand, and create memorable guest experiences.

Community Partnerships & Local Engagement

Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships with local businesses, influencers, cultural institutions, and community organizations

Create collaborative programming and cross‑promotional opportunities that drive brand visibility and incremental revenue

Represent the hotel within the local community and serve as a brand ambassador at key events and networking opportunities

Leverage partnerships to enhance guest experience, including curated local offerings and in‑hotel experiences

Hotel Activations & Revenue‑Driving Programming

Concept, plan, and execute on‑property activations, events, and experiences that increase foot traffic, F&B revenue, and overall hotel engagement

Collaborate with operations, food & beverage, and sales teams to align activations with business goals and revenue targets

Develop and promote seasonal campaigns, packages, and experiences that differentiate the property in the market

Track performance of activations and campaigns, optimizing future efforts based on results and insights

Social Media Strategy & Content Leadership

Own and execute the social media strategy across all platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) with a focus on growth, engagement, and conversion

Develop compelling, on‑brand content including photo, video, and storytelling that reflects the hotel’s identity and local relevance

Manage social media calendars, campaigns, and community engagement (comments, DMs, reputation management)

Collaborate with influencers and content creators to expand reach and drive awareness

Analyze performance metrics and continuously optimize strategy based on data and trends

Digital Marketing & Brand Management

Manage hotel websites, ensuring content is current, optimized for SEO, and aligned with brand positioning

Oversee email marketing campaigns and digital promotions across multiple business units

Partner with agencies and internal stakeholders to execute integrated marketing campaigns

Utilize analytics tools (Google Analytics, social insights, etc.) to inform strategy and improve performance

Ensure all marketing efforts maintain consistency with brand standards and positioning

Public Relations & Storytelling

Support PR initiatives and collaborate with agencies to generate media coverage and brand awareness

Develop story angles, press‑worthy activations, and community‑driven narratives

Monitor online reputation and ensure timely, on‑brand responses to reviews and media

Other Responsibilities

All other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.

Qualifications Education/Formal Training A four year college degree or equivalent education/experience.

Experience Required to have a minimum of 2‑4 years of experience in a marketing position. Hospitality experience preferred.

Knowledge/Skills

Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Excellent comprehension and literacy required to read manager's letters, help prepare contracts and proposals

Ability to negotiate effectively

Excellent attention to detail and multi‑tasking skills

Professional appearance and manner

Computer literacy, specifically MS Word for Windows

Communication at all levels; multi‑tasking; time management
