Continuous Improvement Manager | Lansing, MI Salary Range:

$91,000 - $138,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of continuous improvement strategies and initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).

Identify and prioritize opportunities for process optimization, waste reduction, and efficiency gains across manufacturing operations.

Facilitate and lead cross-functional teams in problem-solving activities and root cause analysis.

Train, mentor, and coach employees at all levels on continuous improvement methodologies and tools.

Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness and impact of improvement projects.

Drive a culture of continuous improvement, challenging existing norms and promoting proactive problem-solving.

Standardize best practices and document improved processes to ensure sustainability of gains.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience (5+ years) driving continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment.

Strong proficiency in Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.

Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) or equivalent certification.

Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex improvement projects, including change management and cross-functional team leadership.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with advanced simulation software or process modeling tools.

Familiarity with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) or Theory of Constraints (TOC).

Demonstrated experience in integrating Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g., IoT, AI/ML) into improvement initiatives.

Proven ability to develop and deliver continuous improvement training programs.
