Position Summary

Schedule: WednesdaySunday (Full-Time) Must be available to work weekends, especially Sundays

We are seeking a polished, engaging, and style-driven Retail Stylist & Sales Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who loves fashion, enjoys building relationships with clients, and has a natural ability to create complete, personalized looks.

You will play a key role in delivering a warm, elevated shopping experience while driving sales through thoughtful styling and product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional, personalized customer service
• Style clients by creating complete looks with clothing and accessories
• Build relationships with repeat customers and develop a loyal clientele
• Drive sales through product knowledge, storytelling, and styling suggestions
• Maintain a visually appealing and well-merchandised sales floor
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and inventory management
• Support in-store events and promotions
• Uphold the Dovecote brand aesthetic and Fearrington standard of hospitality

Qualifications

• Previous retail or fashion experience preferred
• Strong sense of personal style and understanding of current trends
• Passion for helping others feel confident and well-dressed
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, customer-focused environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Must be reliable and available to work weekends, especially Sundays

At least 2 years experience as a stylist with retail sales

Strong customer service skills

Self-motivated with the ability to build and maintain personal clientele

Possess an optimistic, positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to lead and be led

Operate the register to facilitate transactions

Read and collect data through our inventory technology

Boutique maintenance

Balancing the daily business financial records

Generally, requires standing and walking for the entirety of shift
