About the Opportunity Our Client, a private equity-backed manufacturing organization supporting government/defense contracts to identify an Interim Director of Finance resource. This role will step in immediately to provide leadership continuity and financial oversight across a multi-entity business segment. This is a high-impact role supporting a ~$150M business (with near-term acquisition growth), offering strong visibility to executive leadership and the opportunity to drive meaningful financial insight and performance.

What You’ll Be Doing Lead financial oversight for a multi-site manufacturing segment (4 locations; expanding to 5) Own forecasting, budgeting, and reporting across P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Deliver monthly and quarterly reporting packages to senior leadership Provide financial analysis on margins, profitability, and key business drivers Partner with operations and leadership on strategic planning, pricing, and business decisions Support contract evaluation and revenue recognition (ASC 606 / POC) where applicable Drive insights that improve operational performance and cost efficiency Lead and develop finance team members across multiple locations Support audit activities and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements
What We’re Looking For Proven experience as a Finance Director or senior finance leader in heavy manufacturing environments Strong ownership of financial statements (P&L, BS, Cash Flow) and forecasting processes Experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments with the ability to quickly ramp and add value Deep expertise in financial reporting, analysis, and business partnering Experience working with multiple ERP systems (e.g., Infor, Oracle, JobScope) and advanced Excel skills Experience with revenue recognition (ASC 606 / Percentage of Completion)
required Prior experience in private equity-backed or publicly traded companies highly preferred Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence across operations and executive teams
