Job Summary The Senior RFP Manager will lead the end-to-end development of RFQs, RFPs, and client-facing items at the prequalification and proposal phase. This individual will manage proposal procurement with key team members, communication with Professional Team Members, as required, and Internal Team Members, preparation of the Required Submission working together with RFP Team Members and Assigned Internal Team Members, and cross-functional coordination while mentoring the RFP Team.
This role requires a strategic thinker who understands both construction operations and strategic organizational/planning skills and time management.
Responsibilities and Duties Strategic Leadership
Collaborate with the leadership team
Partner with Business Development, Operations, Estimating, and Marketing to align with Core Values and Cohesiveness of Team.
Drive continuous improvement of proposal processes and content. Working with Marketing and Team Leaders.
Proposal Development
Manage the full lifecycle of RFQs/RFPs from kickoff through submission.
Review, edit, and refine executive summaries and key technical narratives, provided by Project Team Members, for inclusion in the Proposal or Deliverable.
Ensure proposals are compliant with RFP/RFQ Requirements and visually cohesive.
Coordinate/assemble, working with Marketing/Assigned Project Team Members, required graphics/schedules, resumes, and project sheets.
Team & Process Management
Oversee/manage proposal calendars and deadlines, working with Estimating and RFP Coordinators
Manage and mentor RFP Team Members
Establish new workflow processes, if required, to ensure quality, efficiency, and internal Core Values.
Ensure proposal tracking systems are up to date, working with RFP Coordinators

Qualifications and Skills
8–12+ years of proposal management experience within construction, engineering, architecture, or related professional services.
Proven experience leading large, complex proposals.
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Ability to translate technical information into client-focused communications.
Experience managing/communicating with teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.
Computer Systems
Proficiency in PowerPoint and Microsoft Office Suite.
Salary Information
To the extent this role is performed in New York City, the annual salary range is $160k-170k base.
