Media & Advertising Sales Consultant
Midwest Communications, Inc in Peoria, IL is seeking a proven Media & Advertising Sales Consultant to drive revenue growth across one of the most dominant audio and digital media portfolios in Illinois. As our Media & Advertising Consultant, you will create advertising solutions that leverage radio, digital, and event marketing assets to help clients achieve their marketing goals.
This role has a base salary and monthly commission.
As our Media & Advertising Sales Consultant, you will
- Prospect, develop, and maintain a strong pipeline of new business through cold calling, networking, and community engagement
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients by understanding their business objectives and marketing needs
- Create and present customized advertising proposals across radio, digital, streaming, social, and promotional platforms
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales revenue goals
- Collaborate with internal teams (programming, promotions, digital, and production) to execute successful campaigns
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, proposals, and sales activity in CRM systems
- Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings
- Provide ongoing campaign performance updates and recommendations to clients
- Represent the station at community and networking events to enhance brand visibility
We are asking you to
- Be a high-achieving sales leader with a track record of developing revenue
- Have excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Be self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Have a valid Illinois Driver License and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record Check
