We’re looking for a talented and creative writer with a meticulous eye to join our team and report directly to our VP, Outreach. This role is all about leveling up our creative work across the board—crafting and reviewing content that resonates with audiences from ages 4 to 104. You’ll be hands‑on with writing to bring big ideas to life. If you’re a natural storyteller who loves shaping narratives and making an impact, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Duties and Responsibilities
Write, edit, and refine high‑impact copy across a wide range of channels, including web, mobile, paid ads, email, direct mail, PR (op‑eds and press releases), petitions, video titles/descriptions, and social media
Craft compelling, conversion‑driven messaging for marketing and fundraising campaigns that resonates with diverse audiences
Ensure all copy is clear, accurate, and aligned with brand voice, tone, and strategic goals
Adapt messaging to effectively engage both Kids and general audiences while maintaining a consistent and cohesive voice
Develop campaign narratives, messaging frameworks, and talking points for use across internal teams, external partners, and influencer collaborations
Contribute to creative ideation and concept development for campaigns, social content, and talent/presenter integrations, helping shape how stories are told and amplified
Successful Candidates Will Possess
5–7 years of experience in copywriting and creative roles
A strong understanding of the digital media landscape, with fluency in conservative‑focused messaging and audiences
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a sharp attention to detail
A deep passion for social media and a strong grasp of emerging trends and platform dynamics
The ability to take ownership of work, stay self‑motivated, and remain adaptable in a collaborative environment where not every idea moves forward
Proven experience crafting high‑impact, donor‑focused and fundraising copy across diverse audiences and age groups

Salary Range
The salary target for this role is $85,000 - $100,000+. Final offer amounts depend on multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and most recent market data. This position is eligible for an annual bonus based on personal and company performance, in addition to our robust benefits package.
