Our client an international freight forwarding and logistics company, is seeking an Entry Writer to join their Illinois team.
Title: Customs Entry Writer
Industry: Logistics
Type: Full Time Direct Hire
Salary: $30-40/hr
Hours: 9 - 6 PM
Location: Wood Dale IL (on site)
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepares and submits accurate customs declarations.
- Coordinates with sales departments for timely customs processing.
- Ensures logistics activities meet legal and corporate compliance standards (e.g., TS
- A, CTPAT).
- Manages import logistics, schedules pickups/deliveries, and communicates
- with carriers.
- Tracks shipments and provides updates to customers.
- Handles billing, freight charges, and contract data entry.
- Resolves logistics issues and supports related operations.
- Provides price quotations for new and existing customers.
- Assists in invoicing for Airfreight, Ocean, and Trucking departments.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of entry writing experience
- Highschool diploma required
- Excel experience
- Experience with international logistics
