Digital Shelf Specialist

We are seeking a Digital Shelf Specialist. The Digital Shelf Specialist is responsible for ensuring our products are accurate, compelling, and conversion-ready at Amazon. This role monitors and improves product detail page (PDP) quality, resolves content issues quickly, and supports conversion optimization efforts through ongoing content enhancements, digital shelf analytics, and cross-functional coordination. Key Responsibilities Digital Shelf Quality & Content Health Monitor PDP content health and accuracy (titles, bullets, descriptions, images, attributes, enhanced content). Identify and remediate issues such as missing content, incorrect claims, outdated pack/size, incorrect taxonomy, broken variations, or suppressed listings. Ensure product data and imagery meet retailer requirements and internal brand standards. Content Updates & Publishing Execute content updates via syndication platforms (e.g., Salsify, Syndigo, 1WorldSync) and/or retailer portals. Refresh copy based on brand strategy, SEO best practices, retailer guidelines, and compliance requirements. Manage brand store presence across portfolio. Issue Management & Escalations Triage and resolve digital shelf tickets related to content, catalog, availability signals, and brand presentation. Coordinate with retailers, internal sales teams, and agencies to close issues within SLA targets. Document recurring root causes and recommend process improvements. Performance & Insights Track KPI performance including content completeness, share of search, conversion rate, ratings/reviews, and sales impact. Provide weekly reporting and insights on key content opportunities and competitor benchmarks. Support experimentation and learning agenda (A/B tests where supported). Buy Box Monitoring & Recovery Monitor Buy Box ownership continuously using Amazon tools and third-party trackers. Identify Buy Box losses (pricing, availability, 3P competition) and escalate internally or through Amazon support. Partner with sales teams to address vendor term issues, availability challenges, and rogue 3P disruption. Job Qualifications Qualifications Required Associates' degree or equivalent experience. 2+ years experience in eCommerce, digital merchandising, or product content operations. Strong attention to detail; ability to manage multiple SKUs and priorities at once. Comfort working in spreadsheets and dashboards (Excel, Power BI/Tableau). Preferred Experience with content syndication tools (Salsify, Syndigo, 1WorldSync, Plytix). Familiarity with digital shelf analytics (Profitero, Stackline, Data Impact, CommerceIQ, Helium 10). Experience with retailer portals (Amazon VC/SC, Walmart Item 360, Target Partners Online). Core Competencies Detail-oriented execution, strong follow-through, cross-functional collaboration, data-driven problem solving, bias for action.
