JOB OVERVIEW As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organization and time‑management skills, and your ability to establish and maintain retailer relationships while being the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations when needed.

SALARY AND SCHEDULE DETAILS

Your starting hourly pay rate will be

$12.50 - $14.50

depending on your skills and experience.

We provide paid training, delivered through live, hands‑on instruction as well as virtual classroom training.

Hallmark part‑time employees are offered voluntary benefits that include medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.

Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.

This is a Part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.

Average weekly hours are between

7-10

hours per week.

Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.

Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES You will perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores such as grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers. The position consists of three major components:

Day‑to‑day engagement : Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, you will restock, organize, and monitor inventory. You will communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and complete required surveys.

Holiday support : Leading up to and following holidays (Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas), you may work additional days and extended hours, including weekends.

Department resets : You may be part of a team responsible for installations and various tasks such as building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments, and resetting card sections. Assignments are typically notified two weeks in advance.

One Team Vision : As part of Hallmark’s field organization, you belong to a network of merchandisers that support each other as needed in their territories.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Work on the sales floor and in back stockrooms, continually pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds. You will kneel, squat, walk, stand, and sometimes climb stairs or step ladders.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

You are at least 18 years of age.

You can read, write, and understand English.

You can frequently lift and carry products up to 30 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds.

You can operate a digital hand‑held device to open and read documents and interpret information.

You have access to Wi‑Fi and the internet.

You have consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
