Job Description Summary

A cloud-first insurance technology organization is seeking an experienced

MarTech Developer

to support the development, integration, and optimization of its marketing technology stack. This role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership and serves as a subject matter expert for marketing systems that drive customer engagement, analytics, and campaign performance. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with marketing and product teams while mentoring engineers and contributing to a modern enterprise SaaS platform.

Responsibilities • Contribute as a senior technical resource on a cross-functional Agile development team • Serve as technical SME for marketing technology platforms supporting campaign execution, automation, and analytics • Translate marketing and business objectives into clear technical requirements and scalable system designs • Design and implement features aligned with enterprise architecture and platform strategy • Provide mentorship through code reviews, pair programming, demos, and coaching sessions • Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to define requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business goals • Contribute to cross-team architecture and platform design decisions • Maintain and improve engineering standards, processes, and best practices • Lead technical documentation efforts to ensure knowledge sharing across teams • Deliver consistent code contributions aligned with sprint goals and user stories • Partner with QA to ensure strong unit, functional, and regression testing coverage • Ensure system performance, scalability, and reliability standards are met • Promote a security-first engineering mindset across the team • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and production issues • Drive innovation and proactive problem-solving across initiatives

Qualifications • 5-10 years of software development experience • 3+ years in a senior technical or lead engineering capacity • 2-5+ years of experience working directly with marketing technology ecosystems (AdTech, CRM, marketing automation, analytics, A/B testing tools) • Strong experience with C#, .NET, TypeScript, and SPA frameworks (Angular, React, or similar) • Experience designing and delivering RESTful APIs and enterprise system integrations • Strong knowledge of cloud services (preferably Azure) including serverless, storage, messaging, and logging • Experience with both monolithic and microservices architectures • Strong understanding of relational and non-relational data design (SQL, document, and unstructured data) • Experience building CI/CD pipelines and working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills • Experience working across large-scale Agile, multi-team environments • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience • Experience with marketing technology platforms such as AdTech systems (DSPs, tracking pixels, conversion tracking), CRM and marketing automation tools, analytics platforms (e.g., GA4), and A/B testing tools (e.g., Kameleoon)
