Our client a well known Financial Services Firm is seeking a Alternative Operations Analyst in their Dallas, Texas Location!
Key Responsibilities
Support the settlement and operational management of debt and private equity transactions from onboarding through lifecycle events
Facilitate deal execution activities, including asset setup, ticket preparation, and coordination of settlement processes
Confirm and track cash settlements, including oversight of cash wire controls and related documentation
Assist with reconciliation requests, research inquiries, and exception resolution
Support vaulting requests and physical security registration requirements for applicable assets
Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with internal controls and high-security protocols
Product & Functional Expertise
Work with loan-based products including term loans, revolvers, delayed draw facilities, and privately originated debt/equity instruments
Support loan setup, interest calculations, amendments, restructurings, and loan agency functions
Participate in the loan settlement process, including complex deal structures and control/pledge agreements
Assist with operational workflows tied to private equity investments and alternative strategies
Accounting & Lifecycle Knowledge
Understand accounting implications tied to lifecycle events, including principal and interest (P&I), expenses, and capital contributions/distributions
Partner with accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate recording and reporting of transactions
Support controls and documentation tied to income accounting and asset activity
Qualifications
Experience supporting operations for alternative investments, private credit, loans, or private equity
Working knowledge of loan products and settlement processes
Familiarity with accounting treatment of investment lifecycle events
Strong attention to detail and ability to operate in a high-security, control-driven environment
Excellent organizational, reconciliation, and research skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet time-sensitive deadlines
