We’re looking for a detail‑oriented and organized professional to join our Finance team as a Collections Specialist. This role focuses on managing Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) fee activity and working directly with the Social Security Administration (SSA). We provide training—prior collections experience is not required.
What You’ll Do
Contact SSA Payment Centers to check the status of outstanding SSDI invoices
Prepare and submit SSDI fee petition templates
Respond to fee‑related inquiries from SSA representatives, claimants, and internal partners
Track and update invoice activity and notes (Salesforce)
Maintain organized, accurate documentation and follow up on payments over 30 days
Build professional working relationships with SSA contacts
What We’re Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent (no college degree required)
At least 1 year of office or administrative experience
Comfortable making professional outbound phone calls
Strong organizational and follow‑up skills
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Salesforce experience a plus, but not required
