Commercial Underwriting Manager
Reporting Line: US Head of Commercial Underwriting
Under the direction of the US Head of Commercial Underwriting, this position will manage a pipeline of new business submissions in order to achieve Allianz Trade profitability and growth objectives. This position will analyze and provide policy structure and premium rates for new business applications, cultivate relationships with direct sales force agents and broker partners, provide the highest quality of customer service, and assess commercial underwriting risk.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Structure and price new business policies to drive profitability and growth
Have a deep understanding and be compliant with Group Commercial Rules
High level of interaction with Risk Underwriting to maximize approvals for a pipeline of new business applications
Manage customer and broker relationships with our Direct Sales Force team
Provide highest levels of customer service to internal and external customers by promptly addressing inquiries, providing accurate information, and offering tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of prospective customers
Quote
egotiate new business transactions in accordance with Allianz Trade pricing and Commercial Underwriting guidelines
Support management of new business pipeline with Direct Sales Force team
Be a principal driver of revenue, growth and profitability
Work independently on projects assigned on an as needed basis
Required Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's Degree in business, economics, finance or related discipline
Previous trade credit commercial underwriting experience preferred
2-4 years of financial services or underwriting experience
Effectively interact with our Direct Sales Force and other departments within Allianz Trade
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Successfully manage multiple priorities
Looking for candidates that possess a basic awareness of Artificial Intelligence technologies and are enthusiastic about learning and integrating AI into everyday business processes

Total compensation range:
$85,000 - $105,000
Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual's relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary ranges are only one component of our total compensation package.
