Duration: 1 yr Location: remote PST Description Business Title: Employee Communications Consultant III Location: Remote/hybrid – location doesn’t matter to me as long as they are on West Coast working hours. 30 hrs/week Ideally it would be 5 days a week, 6 hours per day. But we can be flexible based on candidate scheduling needs. Interview Process: Two rounds of interviews. One with me, one with a panel. Contract with the possibility to extend and/or convert. Must-Haves Copywriting/editing, planning & project management, design. Ideally proficient with newsletter tools and design tools like Adobe Creative Suite. Experience Level: min years exp 8 years. Designs and coordinates company communications. Responsible for maintaining policies and procedures, monitoring company media, and utilizing electronic publishing technology, creating visuals and designed pieces to support newsletter and other internal content. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 3-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a technology company. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Copywriting Writes, edits, reviews and oversees release of internal communication documents and programs that support and drive strategic business objectives. Write and edit internal communication materials to increase employee engagement and leadership effectiveness. Position messages and provide coaching to managers to maximize effectiveness of communications. Planning & Project Management Work closely with leaders to develop and manage communication plans. Develop strategy for management to communicate goals throughout the organization to motivate employees to own business results. Management of projects and programs to ensure on-time delivery. Attention to detail is key. Use tools such as surveys, customer feedback, etc., to gather information and determine overall results and themes. Design Create and produce visually compelling internal communication assets that align with company brand standards and enhance message clarity. Develop layouts, graphics, and multimedia content for newsletters, intranet pages, presentations, and leadership communications. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex information into clear, engaging visual formats. Utilize design and publishing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar) to deliver high-quality materials on deadline.
