Full-Time Retail Sales Associate

$10.00 to $14.00 per hour . We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Our retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $1.38 per hour on top of your hourly rate. Perks and Benefits

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the store staff to ensure customer service on both lending and retail sides. The role greets, engages, and interacts with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions, and solves customer inquiries and problems. The associates will work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, and possibly firearms (in FFL locations). The position offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity; actual pay will depend on location, qualifications, and experience. Responsibilities

Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions. Performs non-management open/close procedures. Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays. Processes sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements. Handles cash and negotiable items per established policies and procedures. Answers incoming calls per company standards. Explains legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers. Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers and works to create a positive customer experience. Completes required training and performs other related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Must be able to stand, stoop, walk, climb, push, pull, and lift for extended periods. Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified (where applicable). May be asked to assist customers outside or in exterior storage areas. Minimum Age: 18 years old. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Strong desire to work, serve customers, work with people, and be team-oriented. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and perform basic math calculations. Cash handling experience is preferred. Ability to work at multiple locations as needed; flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays. Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines. The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to FirstCash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2–8% commission based on the gross profit of their personal performance.
