Position Summary We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time retail sales associates to serve customers in our pawn store locations nationwide. The associate greets and engages customers, processes sales and loan transactions, and provides excellent customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business.

Responsibilities

Greets and interacts with customers to develop a rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.

Performs non‑management open/close procedures.

Maintains a clean, stocked sales floor and displays merchandise.

Completes sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.

Handles cash and negotiable items in accordance with established procedures and regulatory requirements.

Answers incoming calls per company standards.

Communicates the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.

Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, displaying respect and using effective communication tools.

Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.

Successfully completes assigned training.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Willing and able to perform duties and tasks for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting).

Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification.

May be asked to assist customers outside the store or retrieve products from exterior storage.

Minimum age 18 years.

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.

Strong desire to serve customers and work as part of a team.

Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.

Proficient with basic math calculations.

Cash‑handling experience preferred.

Willing to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.

Willing to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Computer literate and able to operate point‑of‑sale (POS) systems and common office machines.

Benefits & Compensation $10.00 to $14.00 per hour. Employees earn up to 8% commission on transactions, which could add an average of $3.85 per hour on top of the base rate.

Best working hours: 9AM to 6PM; many stores closed on Sundays.

Earned Wage Access available from day two, allowing employees to withdraw up to 50% of earned wages up to seven times per payroll cycle.

Unlimited commission above the hourly base rate.

Vacation: One week paid after six months of full‑time service; additional week after one year; two weeks on each anniversary thereafter (subject to state/local rules).

Sick/Personal: 8 hours after six months; 16 hours per anniversary thereafter (years 2‑5, subject to local rules); 24 hours after five years.
