Position Summary
We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates for our pawnbroker/retail stores nationwide. The associate works with the entire staff to provide customer service on both the lending and retail side, greets and engages customers, and processes sales, loans, and other transactions. Responsibilities
Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and recommend solutions. Performs non‑management open/close procedures. Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains product displays. Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with company policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements. Handles all cash and negotiable items in accordance with established policies. Answers incoming calls per company standards. Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers. Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, displaying respect and using effective communication tools. Partners with all employees to create a positive customer experience. Successfully completes assigned training. Other related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
Willingness and ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds. Willingness and ability to perform duties and tasks for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting. Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified. May be asked to assist customers exterior to the building or retrieve items from exterior storage. Minimum age 18 years. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Strong desire to work, serve customers, and work with people. Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to perform basic math calculations proficiently. Cash handling experience preferred. Ability to work at multiple locations as business needs dictate. Willingness to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays. Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines. Benefits & Compensation
Hourly Wage:
$14.00 to $18.00 per hour, plus commission up to 8% on transactions based on productivity. Commission Incentive:
Proprietary plan; potential 2–8% commission on gross profit of personal performance. Details provided during interview. Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, supplemental, and other voluntary options (eligibility required). Best working hours: most stores open 9 AM – 6 PM; many closed on Sundays. Earned Wage Access program available from day two; withdraw up to 50% of earned wages up to seven times per payroll cycle. Unlimited commission above hourly base rate. Vacation: One week paid after 6 months of full‑time service. Additional week after 1 year and 2 weeks after each subsequent anniversary (adjusted per state/local requirements). 120 hours after 5 years. Sick/Personal: 8 hours after 6 months, 16 hours each anniversary for years 2–5 (state/local adjustments). 24 hours after 5 years. Employee discounts available from day one.
