
Vice President/Associate Director, Private Infrastructure Debt

What You'll Do
The Private Infrastructure Debt team is seeking a Vice President to support underwriting, origination, structuring, and portfolio monitoring activities across the Principal Infrastructure Debt platform. This role is execution-focused and will partner closely with senior team members to help support transaction activity, fundraising, and overall platform growth.
The Vice President will manage core aspects of investment execution, including financial modeling, due diligence coordination, and preparation of investment recommendations and materials. The role will also support origination efforts by working with external market participants, including Sponsors, Advisors, and Agents, to help drive proprietary transaction flow.
The position covers a broad range of infrastructure sectors globally, across high yield and investment grade, including transportation, power and energy, utilities, digital, social infrastructure, and project financings.
Who You Are
Bachelor’s degree
MBA or CFA preferred
7+ years of relevant infrastructure and project finance origination/underwriting experience
Strong credit skills with the ability to model and evaluate complex transactions across multiple infrastructure sectors
Demonstrated understanding of market pricing, structures, and terms, with sound commercial judgment
Experience coordinating transaction teams and supporting the execution process from origination through closing
Growing relationships with infrastructure Sponsors and other market participants

Salary Range Information Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
The base salary range for this role is
$179,000 - $243,000
as indicated above. Final compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, and alignment with the role’s responsibilities.
In addition to base pay, this role participates in an
annual profit share bonus plan .
Time Off Program Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

Locations We’re open to considering in-office or hybrid talent out of the New York City office. You’ll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.
