Senior Manager, Institutional Customer Communications & Marketing
Location: United States - New York City
Responsibilities
Develop and execute customer communication plans for supply/availability, product opportunities, market actions, and contract opportunities across sterile injectable, surgical, and biosimilars portfolios.
Create customer letters, emails, field force talking points, Q&As, stakeholder messaging, and internal communications including newsletters, emails, and presentations.
Work with cross‑functional teams (Marketing, Portfolio, Sales, Account Management, Global Supply, Corporate Affairs, Legal, Regulatory, Customer Service) to gather input and ensure consistency.
Support media and stakeholder inquiries, issues management, and internal leadership communications such as town halls and executive messages.
Track, measure, and report on communication and marketing metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement.
Assist in developing slide content and talking points for sales forums, all‑colleague meetings, and annual plan reviews.
Provide messaging support for market sustainability, pricing‑related communications, and thought leadership initiatives.
Qualifications – Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of experience, or Master’s degree with 5 years of experience, or PhD with 1+ year of experience.
Experience in B2B, customer/commercial, and/or corporate communications.
Preferred Requirements
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Additional experience in internal communications and/or marketing.
Proven track record of delivering creative communications that advance business goals.
Strong writing, editing, and project management experience, with reliable and timely execution.
Understanding of how communication strategies align with business strategy.
Experience supporting senior executives and working comfortably with cross‑functional teams.
Ability to influence, negotiate, and manage diverse stakeholders effectively.
Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare and biopharmaceutical industries, with preference for hospital generics/sterile injectables market experience.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills, able to meet tight deadlines under pressure.
Proactive, self‑starter with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Travel & Schedule Travel: ~15%. Work location assignment: Hybrid.
Benefits
Annual base salary range: $124,400 – $207,400 (U.S. location) with additional target bonus of 17.5% of base salary.
