
Electrical Designer

Your Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to join our team and play a key role in the design of electrical systems across a diverse portfolio of architectural and engineering projects. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to technically complex environments while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Your Key Responsibilities
Develop electrical designs that meet project objectives, codes, and engineering standards
Ensure accurate, complete, and well-coordinated construction documentation
Plan and manage project workloads to align with established schedules and budgets
Perform and/or support electrical load studies, system analysis, and calculations
Size and specify equipment and develop system applications
Coordinate design solutions with architectural teams and other engineering disciplines
Maintain organized project files, calculations, and technical documentation
Uphold quality assurance standards throughout all phases of design
Conduct or support on-site condition assessments and field investigations
Monitor scope compliance and document deviations as they arise
Prepare technical memoranda, reports, and design narratives
Participate in client meetings and technical discussions
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Strong working knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and emerging technologies
Proficiency with Revit for design development and construction documentation in a multidisciplinary A/E environment.
Broad understanding of electrical engineering principles with coordination across disciplines
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Education and Experience
Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited institution preferred; credentials negotiable based on experience
Minimum of 5+ years of relevant electrical design experience
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
