
Territory Account Manager - Harlem/Washington Heights

Position Overview
Territory Account Manager (TAM) – Long-acting HIV Injectable Treatment Sales Team. Based in Upper Manhattan, New York, you will work across the Harlem/Washington Heights territory with a focus on both sold-to and buy-and-bill accounts. Your goal is to deliver results through exceptional sales and customer service while supporting ViiV Healthcare’s mission of leaving no person living with HIV behind.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver results through exceptional sales and service.
Identify, target, and win new business by influencing HCPs to adopt HIV treatment innovations.
Engage with HCPs, nurses, staff, and administrators to understand clinical, organizational, and financial challenges and opportunities within target accounts.
Leverage data analytics, business acumen, and market expertise to identify high‑priority prospects.
Prepare and execute business plans tailored to each customer’s needs to help HCPs expand treatment reach.
Coordinate and partner cross‑functionally to deliver an integrated product experience to customers.
Maintain a portfolio‑based selling mindset and close internal communication loops to ensure customers experience a cohesive, integrated ViiV offering.
Provide exceptional customer service by proactively anticipating and addressing HCP problems, needs, and requests.
Deliver and adapt execution plans to achieve performance goals using KPIs, scaling successes, and business problem solving.
Develop and foster external relationships with key influential customers and thought leaders.
Act consistently with ViiV’s culture, expectations, and values.
Embrace change in a launch environment and treat setbacks as opportunities to learn and grow.
Escalate issues and risks when needed and speak up with courage.
Understand and follow key compliance and regulatory guidelines.
Basic Qualifications
BA/BS degree.
5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
3+ years of specialty sales experience.
Ability to travel domestically, including overnight travel; majority of time will be in the market.
Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in business, marketing, or life sciences.
Strong planning, organization, analytical, business‑acumen, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills.
Experience influencing and collaborating cross‑functionally in a matrixed environment.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Sales success in complex market access coverage situations.
Experience managing cold‑chain treatment products with HCPs.
Knowledge of the HIV treatment and/or prevention markets.
Spanish bilingual (preferred).
Experience partnering within an integrated account team model that includes multiple field‑based members.

The U.S. annual base salary for this position ranges from $145,500 to $242,500. The salary range is based on location, experience, and market factors and is supplemented by an annual bonus and eligibility for a share‑based long‑term incentive program. Benefits include health care, retirement, paid holidays, vacation, and paid caregiver/parental and medical leave.
