We are a high-volume dual import and domestic dealership with a
strong emphasis on used vehicles . We are seeking an experienced and driven
Used Vehicle Sales Manager
to lead our used car department and drive profitability through expert inventory management and sales execution.
About the Role As our Used Vehicle Sales Manager, you will help oversee all aspects of the used vehicle operation—from acquisition to disposition. You will manage the sales desk, help lead and develop a high-performing sales team, and ensure optimal inventory health and turnover.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full lifecycle of used vehicle inventory:
acquisition, reconditioning, marketing, pricing, and disposition
Operate and optimize the sales desk to maximize sales volume and gross profit
Source quality used vehicles through multiple channels, including:
Live auctions
Street purchases (trade-ins and direct buys)
Online auctions
Utilize
vAuto
(or similar inventory management tools) daily for pricing, market analysis, and inventory management
Analyze market trends and adjust pricing/inventory strategies to maintain a healthy, high-turnover used car lot
Recruit, train, mentor, and lead the used vehicle sales team
Work closely with the General Manager and other department managers to meet dealership performance goals
What We’re Looking For
3+ years
of proven experience operating the sales desk in a used vehicle department
Strong background in
used vehicle inventory acquisition and management
(acquisition through disposition)
Hands-on experience acquiring vehicles via
live auctions, street purchases, and online auctions
Proficiency with vAuto
is required
Demonstrated ability to manage and grow a profitable used vehicle department
Excellent leadership, communication, and team development skills
High energy, strong work ethic, and a results-driven mindset
Clean driving record and ability to pass background check
