Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective staffing strategies to ensure optimal patient care, employee satisfaction, and fiscal responsibility
Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and develop plans to address gaps
Manage staffing budgets, forecasts, and reports to ensure efficient allocation of resources
Conduct regular assessments of staffing performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
Foster strong relationships with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination
Develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards
Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to direct reports
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction

Qualifications
2+ years of staffing or scheduling experience in a skilled nursing, long-term care, or healthcare setting required
Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
Strong understanding of healthcare staffing patterns, scheduling systems, and labor management
Experience managing staffing budgets, agency usage, and overtime control preferred
Knowledge of state and federal staffing regulations within skilled nursing/healthcare environments
Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to work collaboratively with facility leadership and nursing staff
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond quickly to staffing needs and call-offs
High school diploma or equivalent required; healthcare administration or related background a plus
