Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Muncie, IN, for a Director of Development at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie. The Director of Development will be responsible for creating, implementing, and managing fundraising strategies to support the organization's mission. Key responsibilities include overseeing planned giving, annual giving, and general fundraising efforts, as well as cultivating donor relationships, managing budgets related to development activities, and soliciting philanthropic gifts. The Director of Development will collaborate with staff, board members, and community stakeholders to achieve fundraising goals and advance the organization's impact. Qualifications

Demonstrated experience with Planned Giving and Annual Giving strategies

Strong expertise in Fundraising and Philanthropy to secure and sustain donor engagement

Proficiency in Budgeting and financial planning related to development and fundraising activities

Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including donors, staff, and the community

Proven track record of meeting and exceeding fundraising goals

Prior experience in nonprofit development or a related field is preferred

Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience
