A growing construction company in Miami is seeking an HR Specialist to support day-to-day HR operations, with a strong emphasis on payroll, onboarding, and benefits administration. This role works closely with leadership and will play a key part in supporting a Spanish-speaking workforce.
This is a hands-on position best suited for someone who enjoys being on-site, responsive, and involved in daily operations within a fast-paced, blue-collar environment.
Responsibilities
Own and process payroll using ADP Workforce Now, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Manage employee onboarding, including documentation, system setup, and coordination with management
Administer benefits, including enrollments, changes, and employee support
Maintain personnel files, HR records, and compliance documentation
Serve as a primary point of contact for employees regarding payroll, benefits, and HR‑related matters
Support managers with day‑to‑day HR needs across the organization
Assist in building and improving HR processes as the company continues to grow
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in HR or payroll, with direct payroll processing experience required
Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar systems
Bilingual in Spanish and English (required) – must be comfortable communicating daily with Spanish‑speaking employees
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliability
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience in construction, manufacturing, or similar operational environments
