What You Will Do Provide nursing services in accordance with state and federal regulations and Department of Public Health rules and regulations.

Participate in pre-admission assessments for potential residents.

Participate in all staff development programs to expand and develop skills and abilities.

Maintain compliance with all personnel policies and established community policies and procedures.

Understand and implement the Fire Safety and Disaster Preparedness Plan, including evacuation procedures during drills and emergencies.

Perform admission, monthly, and periodic reviews of residents’ functional and mental abilities.

Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality, meeting all scheduling requirements.

Review and revise assessments and care plans at admission, periodically per regulation, and upon changes in resident physical or psychosocial condition.

Assist residents with scheduling medical, dental, and laboratory appointments.

Assist physicians with resident examinations as needed.

Review and transcribe physician orders.

Administer and document medications in accordance with the five rights: right medication, right route, right resident, right time, and right dose.

Perform other duties as assigned or requested by the Supervisor.

Why You Are Qualified Combination of education and/or experience equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university, with a major in a related field.

Minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible experience in long-term care or a related healthcare setting.

Active RN or LPN license in the applicable state is required.
