What You Will Do
Provide services in accordance with state and federal nursing center regulations and Department of Public Health rules and regulations
Participate in pre-admissions assessments for potential residents
Participate in all staff development programs to expand and develop abilities
Maintain compliance with all personnel policies and established community policies and procedures
Understand and implement the Fire Safety and Disaster Preparedness Plan and evacuation procedures during drills and emergencies
Perform admission, monthly, and periodic reviews on residents for functional and mental abilities
Demonstrate dependability and ability to meet schedule requirements (attendance and punctuality)
Review and revise assessments and care plans at admission, periodically per regulation, and with changes in resident condition
Assist residents in scheduling medical, dental, and laboratory appointments
Assist physicians with resident examinations as needed
Review and transcribe physician ordersAdminister and document medications in accordance with the five rights
Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
Why You Are Qualified
Combination of education and/or experience equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with major coursework in a related field
At least two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in long-term care or a related field
Active RN license in the applicable state required
