Responsibilities
Direct the management of the EVS Department to maintain high standards and positive public relations with patients, visitors, and hospital team members.
Manage budgetary controls for the EVS department.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory agencies and policies (Department of Health, Bio Hazards, Linen, Waste Management, etc.). BS degree required; Masters preferred or equivalent experience.
Qualifications
At least 10+ years of hospital experience in a facility with 350+ beds (or larger).
Bachelor of Science degree required; Masters preferred, or strong experience in lieu of a Master’s degree.
Proven track record of steady work history and significant full-time equivalent responsibility in a general acute care setting.
Environmental Director will: Direct the EVS department to maintain the highest possible standards and excellent public relations with all patients, visitors, and hospital team members. Responsible for budgetary controls. Possess full knowledge of pertinent regulatory agencies and applicable policies, codes, standards, and regulations (Department of Health, Bio Hazards, Linen, Waste Management). BS degree required.
