Senior Account Supervisor, Crisis & Issues As a Senior Account Supervisor, Crisis & Issues at Zeno, you will collaborate with your team and the larger integrated agency team, work with senior team members to provide sound counsel and recommendations to clients, and drive results inclusive of traditional and emerging public relations tactics. You’ll develop a comprehensive understanding of your accounts – their business, products, markets, and industry influencers. The Senior Account Supervisor will work closely with senior-level team members to implement reputation management programs for Zeno clients across the U.S. You will be responsible for managing the overall quality of projects and adherence to budgets. You will work as part of a team on a variety of accounts, in industry sectors such as consumer, technology, professional services and business-to-business, but will be expected to be comfortable leading projects and directing and mentoring staff when appropriate.

About The Role

Collaborate with teams, provide strategic counsel and recommendations to our clients, and drive results inclusive of traditional and emerging public relations tactics.

Demonstrate writing excellence when crafting internal and client correspondence.

Initiate the new business process and play an active role in cross-practice and cross-office pitches.

Adhere to the financial and operational requirements of multiple accounts simultaneously, ensuring quality work, and deadline and budget adherence.

Serve as daily mid to junior level client contact on multiple accounts simultaneously.

Set and lead media relations, including outreach plan creation, executive thought‑leadership planning, materials drafting, event management, effective pitching and training of spokespersons on speeches and presentations and growth of contact network.

Supervise junior staff by mentoring, motivating, coaching, consistently providing feedback, holding them accountable, and conducting their semi‑annual reviews.

Track deliverables against multiple media plans and organize the internal Zeno pitch team.

About You

6+ years of PR experience in an agency or similar environment.

2+ years of experience in Crisis & Issues, Corporate Affairs, or Public Relations.

Ability to make effective recommendations to mid‑level clients.

Ability to lead the execution of all client‑related projects.

Ability to manage projects and direct team members.

Ability to think strategically about resources and client deliverables.

A collaborative spirit with a results‑driven attitude.

Demonstrated ability to multi‑task, delegate, and manage assignments while accurately evaluating the work of others.

Demonstrated the ability to think strategically, creatively and holistically about client programs.

Be fearless in presenting a point of view in brainstorms.

Experience managing multiple client contacts.

Familiarity with best‑practice communications tactics and PR tools.

Passion for learning new businesses and taking on challenges.

Proven success in building relationships with members of the media and driving results for clients.

Pay Range: $105,000-125,000 USD/yr

Level 06: An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue‑based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region‑specific benefits.
