Our client is seeking a Counsel-level Real Estate Attorney to join its highly regarded Real Estate Department in New York. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior attorney with significant transactional experience to take on a visible and impactful role within a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment. Responsibilities:
Advise clients on complex commercial real estate transactions from inception through closing.
Negotiate and structure acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and financing arrangements.
Manage transactions across a variety of asset classes, including office, retail, and mixed-use properties.
Lead deal negotiations and coordinate with counterparties, lenders, and other stakeholders.
Draft and review transactional documents with precision and commercial awareness.
Work closely with clients to provide strategic, business-focused advice.
Take ownership of matters and manage transactions independently.
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience advising on complex commercial real estate transactions.
Strong background in negotiating and closing deals across multiple asset classes.
Excellent drafting and transactional skills.
Demonstrated business judgment and commercial acumen.
Ability to manage matters autonomously while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
Admission to the New York State Bar is required.
