Medical Intake Coordinator
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an amazing Intake Coordinator ASAP for a temp to hire position working full-time, onsite, in the Portland, OR area. Responsibilities: Handle incoming calls from patients, referring providers, and care teams regarding home medical equipment (HME). Answer questions related to prescriptions, order status, equipment eligibility, and insurance coverage. Clarify processes for obtaining home equipment and direct callers appropriately. Use active listening skills to understand and document caller needs while simultaneously typing notes into the system. Navigating and documentation utilizing EHR system EPIC Effectively communicating with providers via phone, email, & fax. Administrative duties Qualifications: Needs a very strong multitasking personality with typing skills Organizational, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills are a must. Strong Customer Service background, and healthcare intake experience preferred. HS Diploma/GED required. Details: Schedule: M-F 8:30 - 5 Employment Type: Full time, longer term contract position. May be extended out. Pay Range: $21-$22/hr depending on experience Location: On-site in Portland, OR
