About the Role
The Company is in need of a Hospice Executive Director to take the lead in the Cleveland, OH program. The successful candidate will be a proven hospice operator with a strong background in full P&L and budget ownership, and a track record of verifiable performance. Key responsibilities for this role include overseeing the branch's overall performance in operations, quality, compliance, staffing, budgets, growth, and culture. The Executive Director will be directly accountable for results and will be expected to lead day-to-day hospice operations, drive quality outcomes, and ensure compliance with all federal and state hospice regulations. Building and maintaining strong relationships with local referral sources and community stakeholders to support census growth is also a critical aspect of the position.
Applicants for the Hospice Executive Director role must have a minimum of 3-5 years' of hospice operations management experience and be local to Cleveland with deep market knowledge and established contacts. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in budget development and monitoring, a broad knowledge of federal and state regulations, and strong leadership, operational discipline, strategy, and people management skills. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, highly organized, and possess strong time management, multitasking, and decision-making abilities. The position demands a leader who can ensure strong execution across admissions, patient care operations, and KPI performance, and who is dedicated to the mission of providing high-quality hospice care.
