About the Role

The Company is in search of a Hospice Executive Director to take on a pivotal market-facing leadership role. The successful candidate will be tasked with the full responsibility of the hospice program's performance, encompassing day-to-day operations, clinical oversight, business development, census growth, financial performance, compliance, team leadership, and community relationships. This demanding position requires a leader who can effectively balance operational discipline, clinical credibility, and a growth mindset. Key responsibilities for the role include providing overall leadership for the hospice program, overseeing business and clinical operations, driving financial performance, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and partnering with various teams to enhance referral relationships and market presence.

Applicants for the Hospice Executive Director position at the company must have a recent background in hospice leadership, with a minimum of 2-3 years' experience in hospice program leadership or operations management. The role demands a candidate with a strong background in hospice operations, growth strategy, and clinical operations, as well as experience in budget development, financial oversight, and profit/loss management. A working knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid, hospice compliance, and regulatory standards is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building relationships with healthcare providers and community partners, and possess strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and organizational skills. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
