Join a top-tier manufacturing company as our Indirect Tax Manager, reporting to the Director of Tax. You’ll lead critical tax functions—sales & use tax, property tax, and business incentives—while driving compliance, strategy, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee U.S. sales & use tax and Canadian GST filings
Lead audits, reverse audits, and settlement negotiations
Support tax planning and research for business operations
Deliver internal training on tax impacts of purchases and sales
Manage Thomson Reuters Indirect Tax Compliance Software
Supervise a team of two and oversee third-party CPA relationships
Handle property tax accruals, payments, and global VAT coordination
What You Bring
Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or Business (MST/CPA a plus)
7+ years of indirect tax experience, ideally in manufacturing
Strong audit resolution and tax research skills
Proven leadership and delegation abilities
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration
Experience with SAP and Thomson Reuters tax software
