Job Summary
Deputy Director of Adult Services for the Department of Behavioral Health/Behavioral Health Authority. Responsible for managing delivery of state‑of‑the‑art adult behavioral health assessments, treatment, and support services, conducting policy analyses, planning and organizing a system of care that includes supported housing and employment, purchasing services for residents, and developing comprehensive programs. Provides oversight and direction of staff, issues policy guidance, determines program goals, resource needs, staff selection, grievances, performance evaluations, and makes changes to address redefined objectives. Works closely with the Chief Operating Officer and Director to exercise fiscal responsibility and oversee planning, purchasing, and grant management. Responsibilities
Manage and deliver adult behavioral health assessment, treatment, and support services. Conduct policy analyses of adult behavioral health services and develop system of care plans. Plan, develop, and implement comprehensive programs, including supported housing and employment. Coordinate activities and resolve major problems encountered in program implementation. Oversee and provide direction to staff; issue policy guidance. Determine program goals, resource needs, staff selections, grievances, performance evaluations. Exercise fiscal responsibility and oversee planning, purchasing of services, and grant management. Qualifications
Bachelor’s or higher degree in a health or allied science field. Minimum one year of specialized experience related to leadership in planning, organizing, and implementing behavioral health services for adults. Experience in staff oversight, program development, policy analysis, and fiscal management. EEO Statement
