Communications Coordinator

Description We’re looking to expand our team with a new Communications Coordinator to support our integrated teams and client work. You’ll become part of an award-winning collective of cultural insiders, all of whom are storytellers at heart and are curious about what is next in the industry. This position is full-time, requires a hybrid work schedule, and is only available in New York, NY.

$55,000 - $60,000 / year

Responsibilities

General account support, research & brainstorming

Identifying influential voices (new and traditional media, earned and paid influencer), creating lists and outreach

Ongoing monitoring and creating coverage reports on a daily and weekly basis

Proactive trend spotting across platforms

Packaging success and helping support the overall agency infrastructure, co-founders, new business efforts and administrative needs of the company

Qualifications

1 year experience in public relations or similar field, with consumer/lifestyle media background preferred

Bachelor’s degree

Strong and proven writing and analytical skills

Basic knowledge of the public relations and communications industry

Detail oriented

Ability to adapt to a fast paced environment

Familiarity with Cision, MuckRack as well as Microsoft Office suite, Google Drive and Apps and Keynote a plus

Consistently informed about industry-relevant AI trends, tools, and applications, with basic proficiency in generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, MidJourney, Runway, DALL·E, or similar platforms.

The Company is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base compensation range for this role is $55,000 - $60,000 and this position is eligible for benefits that include medical insurance (health, dental, and vision), retirement plan, paid time off, paid parental leave, new business and employee referral bonuses, etc. Please note that the compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for New York City based hires only and is provided pursuant to the New York City Pay Transparency Law. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as candidates' relevant work experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
