Role Overview
AppleOne Employment Services is seeking an experienced
Construction & Real Estate Attorney
to join its leadership team. The role involves overseeing legal matters across a wide range of real estate and infrastructure projects, including planning, construction management, public works, transportation, and housing. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of legal expertise and strategic insight to support large-scale community projects while ensuring compliance and minimizing legal risk.
Compensation Base pay range:
$175,000.00 /yr —
$220,000.00 /yr.
Additional compensation: Annual Bonus.

Responsibilities
Provide legal counsel on construction, real estate, and infrastructure development initiatives.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, permits, intergovernmental agreements, and other complex legal documents.
Advise on land use, permitting, and development regulations.
Partner with department directors and executive leadership to assess risk, ensure compliance, and guide decision-making.
Oversee business permits, construction contracts, and cooperative agreements.
Collaborate closely with internal legal and executive teams to align legal strategy with organizational goals.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA‑accredited law school.
Active member of the Florida Bar, authorized to practice in Florida.
3–5+ years of legal experience in construction, real estate, or infrastructure law.
Strong command of contract law, land use, and development regulations.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document systems.
Valid Florida Driver’s License and flexibility to work outside standard hours as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with tribal law, public agencies, or government entities.
Background in municipal or public real estate development and construction law.
