For more than 50 years, VEAP has been a trusted, mission driven leader supporting individuals and families across Hennepin County with access to healthy food, housing stability, and financial assistance. With more than 4.1 million pounds of food distributed annually and over 250,000 people served, VEAP is one of Minnesota’s most respected community based human services organizations.
The Vice President of Program Strategy & Impact is a brand new role that will guide VEAP’s next era of program innovation, evaluation, and community partnership. Reporting to the President & CEO and leading Food & Basic Needs, Social Services, Volunteer Services, and program data functions, this leader will set strategic direction, build VEAP’s impact measurement systems, and ensure programs are data informed, equity centered, and responsive to community needs. The VP will bring vision, relational leadership, and a commitment to measurable outcomes that advance VEAP’s mission.
Key Responsibilities
Translate organizational strategy into high impact program initiatives
Lead and develop program leaders across food access, social services, volunteer engagement, and data analytics
Build VEAP’s evaluation and measurement systems, including KPIs and dashboards
Identify emerging trends and guide program innovation, redesign, and expansion
Strengthen cross functional alignment and program integrity
Build and sustain strategic partnerships with community organizations, government agencies, and coalitions
Qualifications
10+ years of progressive senior leadership experience in nonprofit, public sector, or mission driven organizations
Expertise in program strategy, evaluation, and organizational performance
Strong relationship building skills and experience partnering with diverse communities
Demonstrated ability to lead through change and guide program innovation
Bachelor’s degree required; experience in hunger relief, housing stability, or social services preferred
Salary Range: $150,000–$175,000, plus bonus potential and a comprehensive benefits plan.
Location: Bloomington, Minnesota, with hybrid work options.
